This notice explains how Broadside Warriors Amateur Boxing Club ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal information when you visit broadsidewarriors.com or contact us through the website. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why
- Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, and message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry.
- Security and bot protection. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which carries out a privacy-preserving check to confirm you are not an automated script. This may involve a limited, anonymised browser fingerprint sent to Cloudflare.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address and user agent for security, abuse prevention, and to deliver the site. These logs are typically retained for a short period by Cloudflare.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track individuals across sites. No personally identifying information is collected.
Cookies
This site does not set any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. The embedded Google Map and Cloudflare Turnstile widget are third-party services and may set cookies when loaded — see their respective privacy notices for details.
Legal basis
We process contact form data on the basis of your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) when you submit the form. Server logs and bot protection are processed under our legitimate interest (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the site secure and operational.
How long we keep your information
Contact form messages are retained only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and are then deleted.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare — hosts the website and provides bot protection and analytics.
- Google (Gmail) — receives and stores the email generated from your contact form submission.
We do not sell or share your personal data for marketing purposes.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing broadsidewarriors@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
